Disneyland Paris / Studio Park / Valentine's Day

Pour le week-end de la Saint-Valentin, je me suis dit qu'une petite virée à Disneyland ne serait pas de refus. Qui plus est lorsque l'on vit à Paris : 45 minutes de RER et Zou ! On y est. Malgré mes nombreuses escapades dans ce pays imaginaire et magique, je n'avais encore jamais eu l'occasion de faire le parc Disney Studio (sans doute par peur de ne pas retrouver le côté féerique du parc principal). Voici quelques photos de notre journée en amoureux et de l'hôtel Dream Castle situé juste à côté du Parc. Lisez plus bas : BON PLAN GARANTI ! ;-)

For the Valentine's day weekend, I thought it would be nice to go Disneyland. And since I live in Paris, It took us only 45 minutes by RER to arrive there. What a pleasure ! Despite all the times I have been to this magical and imaginary world, I had never tried the Disney Studio park (probably because I was afraid not to find the enchanting spirit of the main park). Here are some pictures of our lovely day in Disney and the Dream Castle hotel just nearby the park : don't forget to read below : GOOD DEALS GUARANTEED ! 

L'hôtel 

Au Dream Castle hôtel, les lits King Size sont de rigueur. Autant vous dire : quel bonheur et quel confort. Situé à 5 minutes en bus du parc (navettes gratuites toutes les 20 minutes environ), nous avons pu profiter de la piscine et du hammam, d'un petit-déjeuner en mode buffet à volonté et d'une superbe vue, le tout pour la modique somme de 80€ la nuit, soit 40€ par personne. The Dream Castle hotel, only King Size bed are required. So I will let you imagin the confort and the pleasure we had sleeping in that bed. Only 5 minutes away from the park by bus (there is a free bus coming nearly every 20 minutes) we had the chance to use the swimming pool and the hammam, to have a delicious breakfast and a great view, all of these for only 80€ a night, that is to say 40€ per person. Le parc Disney Studio 

Pour un premier essai, je vous avoue avoir été contente de tester le parc, mais déçue par sa taille et par conséquent, son nombre d'attractions. Cependant, j'ai beaucoup apprécié les spectacles proposés et l'univers très cinématographique du lieu (d'où le nom Studio, que l'on s'entende bien). Vous devez absolument tester la Hollywood Tower, cet ascenseur va vous en faire voir de toutes les couleurs. Vous allez découvrir ce qu'il s'est réellement passé la terrible nuit du 31 octobre 1939. Prenez garde : sensations fortes au RDV. Et si vous êtes fans de Rock'n Roll ET de sensations, je vous invite à faire le Rock'n Roller Coaster avec Aerosmith : Propulsé à 100 Km/h en quelques secondes sous un fond de musique bien Rocky et entrainante, ça vous coupe le souffle en moins de deux !

Pour accéder au parc, vous avez le choix entre plusieurs types de billet. Les moins chers sont à 46€ / personne pour un billet 1 jour avec accès à 1 parc. Si vous souhaitez faire les 2 parcs sur 1 journée, le tarif passe à 78€ / personne (attention, le site de vente en ligne propose de nombreuses promotions et offres spéciales tout au long de l'année, les tarifs varient donc régulièrement)

For a first try, I have to say that I am happy to have done that park, but disappointed as well because of its size, and therefore, the number of attractions. Nevertheless, I appreciated the shows and the cinematic universe of that place (guess why it is named Disney Studio). You definitely have to try the Hollywood Tower, this lift will really put you through the wringer. You will discover what really happened the night of the 31st of october 1939. Be wary : strong sensations coming. And if you are a fan of Rock'n Roll and sensations, I invite you to do the Rock'n Roller Coaster with Aerosmith : propelled at 100 km/h (62,4 miles/h) in a few seconds with a strong rocky background music, it is absolutely breathtaking. 

To access the park, you have a large choice of different types of ticket. The cheapest are 46€ / person for 1 day in 1 park. If you want to do both parks in 1 day, then the price goes to 78€ / person (be aware that the website publishes promotional offers very often throughout the year, the prices thus vary a lot)
